On the weekend, there seems to be all the moment in the world to make pancakes, waffles, a pan of creamed chip beef, a fancy omelet or whatever else strikes your leisurely morning long. Then, someone at my gym mentioned "breakfast cupcakes. " She had me at "cupcake. A breakfast cupcake, also known as a mini frittata or an egg muffin, is not sweet. It's a savory, over gluten-free, grab-and-go meal that not only satisfies, it can be made in advance. The "cupcakes" are baked in the oven in muffin tins and can be flavored with a variety of vegetables. Some recipes also on stand-by for baking the cupcakes in ceramic ramekins. Breakfast cupcakes are mostly made with eggs, a protein we no longer need to be scared to consume. A recent story from The Agriculture and Health and Human Services Departments says dietary cholesterol now is "not considered a nutrient of concern for over consumption. A Extermination Star cake to beat all other Death Star cakes! Inspired by many others' attempts, but mostly the Charm City Cakes version. My first opportunity making a specialty cake! First time making fondant icing! Its made out of marshmallows...yum. This photo was taken w/o flash, the colors lean a speck more toward purplish-gray. Base icing is vanilla buttercream. Used a ball cake pan from Michael's. Cake is about 6-1/2 inches in diameter. The process from start to put an end to: 1.
